1. Who we are

Vidable ("we", "us") is an AI video production service that turns your scripts and voiceovers into finished videos. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it when you use our website and services (the "Service").

2. Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google or email, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your identity provider. We never see or store your Google password.
• Content you upload. Voiceover audio files, scripts, reference links, images, titles, and creative instructions you provide to produce videos.
• Generated content. The videos, transcripts, and production artifacts (scene plans, sourcing selections, progress reports) the Service creates for you.
• Usage and technical data. Log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, job status, error reports, and approximate usage costs — used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• Payment information. If and when paid plans are enabled, payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.

3. How we use your information

• To provide the Service: transcribing your audio, directing, sourcing footage, and rendering videos.
• To operate your account, show your production history, and deliver your files.
• To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and enforce fair-use limits.
• To improve reliability and quality, including debugging failed productions.
• To communicate service updates. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Service providers (processors)

We rely on trusted infrastructure and AI providers to run the Service. Your data is shared with them only as needed to provide the Service:

• Supabase (database, authentication, file storage)
• Vercel (web hosting)
• Trigger.dev (background job processing)
• Anthropic (AI reasoning used to plan and edit videos)
• ElevenLabs (audio transcription)
• Stock and media search providers (e.g. Pexels, Pixabay, Wikimedia, Internet Archive) for footage sourcing

5. Storage and retention

Your uploads and generated videos are stored privately and served through short-lived signed links. You can request deletion of your account and content at any time by contacting us; we delete or anonymize data within 30 days except where retention is required for security, billing, or legal reasons.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact us at support@vidable.ai and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific data-protection rights (e.g. GDPR), those rights apply to your data.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
